AB Building & Electrical Ltd has achieved Aico Platinum Accreditation, the highest level of recognition within Aico’s installer framework. The milestone marks the culmination of the company’s progression from Gold to Platinum status and reflects its continued commitment to excellence in domestic fire and life safety standards across the homes and communities it serves.
As part of the accreditation process, members of AB Building & Electrical’s senior electrical leadership team—Danny Birchall MIET, Operations Director, alongside Matthew Wych MIET and Andy Swift MIET, Electrical Operations Managers—visited Aico’s manufacturing and training facility in Shannon, Ireland. The visit included a comprehensive technical programme as well as a tour of operations, providing valuable insight into Aico’s approach to product innovation, quality assurance, and installation best practice.
The knowledge gained through this process is now being shared across the wider operational teams, ensuring consistent delivery and further strengthening the company’s capability in specifying and installing Aico systems. This continued investment in skills and best practice will enable AB Building & Electrical to deliver even greater value to clients across housing and development projects.
