Thomas Holdings North West Limited has purchased the shares in Diggers Bury Limited, giving the company another arm in providing hire machinery to its current and new customers. The group now have 11 depots, providing tool and plant hire, forklift hire and service, groundwork contractors, hydraulic hose repair and GPS hire, providing nationwide coverage.
Wyn Thomas set up the company in 2000 and has just achieved over £69m turnover in May following the below previous acquisitions:
- 2014 – purchased Anglo Plant Hire;
- 2017 – purchased SOS Hydraulic Hose Repair Ltd;
- 2019 – purchased of Mavis Plant Hire and formation of Manton Forklift Ltd;
- 2020 – formation of On Grade Machine Control Ltd (Intelligent GPS equipment for machinery).
