Powering ahead at Wernick Power Solutions

Wernick Power Solutions announce fleet expansion and the opening of further depots. 

Following the launch of the new power division, Wernick Power Solutions are now fully stocked with a core range of 1,900 generators with diesel, hybrid, battery, EV charging and solar solutions available to suit every need.

In 2020, Wernick spent £3.5m that provided the new power division with 270 generators. An additional £5m will be invested in 2021 that will contribute to the procurement of a further 320 generators including 120 Stage V generators. 

The Power Solutions fleet includes 500 stand-alone generators from JCB, 400 new diesel fuel tanks from Fuel Safe UK and 270 generators from Power-Rite. Wernick Power Solutions also maintains a further 1,400 generators within the Wernick Hire fleet.

Headed by General Manager David Mahon, who has extensive experience in providing specialist hire equipment, the new power division boasts a team of highly experienced individuals situated across the UK. “We currently have 39 people within the team,” says David, “with the expansion plan in mind, we expect to grow our team to 50 by the end of 2020.”

Wernick Power Solutions currently operates nationwide across four strategically located depots with an additional two depots set to open in Dartford and Avonmouth by the end of the year. A further six Wernick Hire depots house service centres which are the base for Wernick Power engineers, giving the new division a UK wide reach. 

The power division is now available 24 hours, seven days a week, 365 days a year to respond to any planned or emergency temporary power requirements.
