Bloor Homes’ Eastern region has officially relocated to a newly refurbished regional office, marking over nearly 50 years of facilitating housing development in East Anglia.
The move continues the company’s long-standing presence in the area, transitioning from its original base in Sudbury and former location off Skyliner Way in Bury St Edmunds.
Situated less than one mile from the previous office, Horizon House, the company’s new Eastern regional office, offers increased office space across three floors, designed to accommodate the evolving requirements of the team.
With a local workforce exceeding 50 office-based employees and a network of construction professionals across the region, Bloor Homes’ Eastern team views this move as a testament to an ongoing commitment to the Bury St Edmunds community and surrounding areas. The location benefits from major transport links, supporting the company’s development projects across the East of England.
Terry Tedder, Regional Managing Director for Bloor Homes’ Eastern region said: “The entire Bloor Eastern team is very excited about our move to Horizon House. Having been based in Bury St Edmunds for many years, we recognised that this new space needed to enhance our operational capabilities and reflect modern working practices. The acquisition of Horizon House provides an excellent environment for our staff and allows us to better serve our customers and communities.”
The head office for Bloor Homes’ Eastern region is now situated at Horizon House, Fred Castle Way, Bury St Edmunds, with the regional team overseeing development sites across Suffolk, Norfolk, and Essex.
