CALA Homes (West) has donated vital personal protective equipment (PPE) from its construction sites to help NHS staff on the frontline of coronavirus in Glasgow.
The award-winning housebuilder delivered clinical-standard equipment including masks and goggles to the city’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to help protect staff treating patients with coronavirus.
Angus Murray, construction director, CALA Homes (West), said: “Donating PPE equipment to our hard-working NHS staff who are risking their own lives to save lives is the least we could do. It is a privilege to help and we hope our contribution can make a difference to our frontline NHS workers.”
A spokesperson from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, said: “We’d like to extend our thanks to everyone at CALA Homes for their kind donation of FFP3 masks and protective goggles which will be delivered across services alongside nationally procured PPE.”
