Select Property Group’s Edinburgh scheme is gathering pace with steelwork construction reaching the first floor on its 250-unit Vita Student site in the Fountainbridge area of Edinburgh city centre.
Scheduled for completion in September 2018, construction partner Bowmer & Kirkland has been working on the project since February.

The Fountainbridge scheme consists of 250 beds, as well as an impressive 5,000 sq ft communal area, which includes a large social hub, movie room, gym, private dining and dedicated study areas.

Based in the industrial area of the city, Vita Student’s Edinburgh residence has been designed to incorporate the urban history and culture of the local area; including the Palais de Dance, the former dance hall it replaces, as well as design elements from the nearby rubber factory.
The development, due to open in September 2018, will also feature shops and leisure facilities and marks the final phase of the city’s Fountainbridge regeneration scheme, which includes retail, office and residential accommodation components.
