Information Business Ready Limited (IBRL), one of the UK’s fastest growing Microsoft Dynamics ERP Gold Partners and foremost providers of consulting, technology and services based around Microsoft Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365. IBRL have announced it has signed a contract for the acquisition of the assets and business of m-hance Limited’s Dynamics AX business unit, a provider of solutions for the construction industry.
The acquisition reaffirms IBRL’s ongoing commitment to expand its capabilities and service offerings to support the construction and rental sectors. IBRL provides extensive offerings for the manufacturing, distribution and supply chain segments, and this acquisition complements that strength by adding a proven capability to the company’s portfolio. The acquisition, whereby IBRL will acquire the Dynamics AX business of m-hance Limited, was closed today.
m-hance’s AX business specialises in solutions for construction companies, providing solutions for hire and rental, service management, e-Invoicing, contract management and CIS specifically, which are required business processes for operations in the UK. The acquisition aims at strengthening IBRL’s broad solutions portfolio and leading position in the market.
The intellectual property and services developed by IBRL and the former m-hance business are built on a framework of Dynamics AX’s core Microsoft infrastructure. They are supported by a team of business consultants to provide seamless and accelerated implementations with a lower cost of ownership and are specifically designed to meet the highly complex requirements of companies operating in the more general supply chain markets.
Following the acquisition, m-hance’s AX business unit will operate under the IBRL brand and the staff will move over to the IBRL team, continuing support and services to the existing client base.
“The construction industry is poised for continued growth and by integrating our capabilities with a proven solutions provider like IBRL we’ll be fully aligned with our clients as they capitalise on the opportunities that lie ahead,” said Lynne Beswick, from m-hance’s AX team. “We strongly believe that the skilled team coming across will enrich the IBRL team and their skills will be able to add to the offerings to the customers who come across as part of the deal.”
“The construction industry is experiencing significant growth due to changing demand in the housing and building markets, which flows through the supply chain to other service providers. This is a strategic acquisition for us that will allow us to utilise further skills and expertise to provide the excellent Dynamics 365 solution into this market place with specific industry solutions,” said Gordon Tait, IBRL Director. “Companies in this space need access to enterprise solutions that are quickly deployable, scalable, and that solve the specific needs of the construction industry. With Dynamics 365, we are strengthening our capability and position as the market leader in systems integration in the construction sector. This is a key step in our ongoing strategic expansion in this industry and reflects our ambition to grow and provide additional value-added services to our clients as we work with select technology partners on both Cloud and on-premise solutions.”
